During a scouting trip to the state of Pennsylvania, Kim Myers auditioned an amazing young dancer! Trevor Sones was not only an incredibly talented dancer, but his personality was engaging. His passion for dance was and still is mesmerizing to watch on stage!
After graduating High School, Trevor continued his dance training at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA concentrating on classical ballet. While at Mercyhurst, he had the opportunity to study under several accomplished teachers in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, musical theater, and tap. Additionally, he was fortunate enough to work with several world renown choreographers such as Bruce Marks, Rasta Thomas, Bill Evans, Laura Alonzo, Diego Salterini, and Teena Custer. Before his Senior year, he studied at Broadway Dance Center in New York City with several acclaimed teachers in the dance industry.
While studying in New York City, he booked a commercial and was a featured extra in the movie “Step Up 3D”. Once he graduated from Mercyhurst University, he began his professional career the very next day at Six Flags America, continuing onto the National Tour of CATS the Musical, and then Hairspray the Musical on board the world’s largest cruise ship; Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas. Trevor says, “I am to be truly grateful for everything and enjoys every opportunity I am given to do what I love!”
