The ARTS (Applause Rising Talent Showcase) is a well respected family oriented event, offering substantial exposure to top industry professionals and agents from Hollywood, Atlanta, New York City, Miami, Chicago and more! Aspiring talent from Anchorage, Alaska to Puerto Rico take the stage offering incredible performances from vocal performances, choreographed dance routines, musical theatre arrangements, fashion runway to improvisation and cold reads! Agents, castings, managers, producers and the industries most influential authors and coaches will be in attendance.
The ARTS offers a unique up close and personal introduction to the world of entertainment. Stressing the most important part: Maintaining a moralistic, value based level of exposure without compromise.
The ARTS is family owned, family run with continued family support! They become an extended family to each and every talent they represent, offering continued advise and counsel in every decision that needs to be made. All participants will have the opportunity to perform on a Broadway style stage with the “real deal” experience. If you ever dreamed of being on stage with a live audience; this will be the opportunity of a lifetime! The ARTS has a strong alliance with parents and family involvement. Every parent is welcome to attend all workshops and seminars prior to The ARTS and are encouraged to attend The ARTS with their child or loved one. Family support is highly suggested and recommended; they are your biggest fans!
The ARTS is a perfect blend of education, experience and exposure. A nice weekend to answer many questions that linger … “Does my child have what it takes?” Attending The ARTS cuts through a big piece of RED TAPE! Eliminating a world of travel from one city to another, trying to meet agents one at a time; most of which, do not take appointments. The coolest part, attending The ARTS allows one to visit many New York agents and walk across the hall and come face to face with Hollywood – within in the same afternoon! Incredible.
Where is The ARTS?
The ARTS is hosted and produced twice per year in Orlando, Florida, always near the Disney properties.
Who will be at The ARTS?
The ARTS award winning staff provide direction and consultation throughout the weekend in Orlando. In addition to this, The ARTS has aligned itself with some industry leaders in regional areas of the country. Regional Directorship and liaisons with theater companies, dance companies, vocal professionals, community arts, and more are in attendance! Without their support, The ARTS would not have the expertise and quality of talent in attendance. Every participant is offered a minimum of 25 hours of preparation and development before attending. This type of instruction and development offers enhancement to every performance on our stage!
How are Auditions Done at The ARTS?
Auditions during The ARTS are on-camera or in front of a live studio audience on a full state of the art performance stage.
Photography – An individual performance. A walk down the runway in front of industry professionals that hire and represent commercial and fashion models.
Television Commercial – An individual performance. Offering a scripted performance on-camera or in front of a live audience AND agents, castings and managers.
